Random stuff

We were on our way back from your first "by yourself" visit to Nana and Papa's house.

"How do stars stay up in the sky?"

Can't remember the exact wording but you wanted to know, basically, how people and animals died. After explaining that people and animals can die a lot of different ways, I had to tell you that you had just gotten a little bit bigger just then. Very deep stuff for a 4 year old!!! And you handled it all very well. Seemed like you understood the sadness of it all but realized that it also didn't apply to you or anyone you knew yet.

We saw the remains of a train wreck (a couple of cars had been burned) with the crew and heavy equipment cleaning it up. It really bothered you, the whole idea of a train wreck, even when we tried to tell you that probably no one was hurt (or that's what we wanted you to think, anways).
